A big shout out to beautiful (inside and out) Kendis, who has won the Brookings Optimist Club essay contest! Kendis and her brother and sister were adopted by their parents, Kevin and Heidi, with the help of Heart2Heart Adoptions. Life is all about children and helping them flourish and reach their potential. Kendis is certainly doing that! So grateful for the brave decision her birthmother made.
